Feeding
Therapy
Your child may need feeding therapy if they:
- are eating less than 20 foods
- are not eating a variety of foods
- are adverse to eating and trying new foods
- are spitting out their food
- are having difficulty chewing their food
- are only eating certain textures
- require a long time to eat
- are overstuffing and pocketing food in their cheeks

Therapy
may
address:
- increasing amount of foods in your child’s food inventory
- working on chewing skills
- increasing the variety of foods that a child may eat
- strategies to decrease overstuffing and pocketing of foods
